Return & Warranty of OTC Products

At Ballia Corpus (operating under the registered brand name LyonsBarry®), we want our customers to feel confident in the quality and safety of our over-the-counter (OTC) nutraceutical and cosmetic products. This page outlines our warranty coverage, returns procedures, and important information on product expiry and recalls.

1. Warranty Information

  • We stand behind the quality of our OTC products and warrant that they are free from manufacturing defects at the time of purchase.

  • If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped, we will provide a replacement or full refund (including return shipping) after verification.

  • This warranty does not cover issues resulting from:

    • Misuse or improper storage.

    • Use beyond the stated expiry date.

    • Damage caused after delivery.

2. Returns for Defective OTC Products

If you believe you have received a defective product:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at care@lyonsbarry.in with your order number, product details, and photographs showing the defect.

  2. Our quality team will review the case and provide instructions for return or disposal, depending on the situation.

  3. Approved cases will receive a replacement or refund within 7–14 business days.

3. Expiry Dates & Storage Guidelines

  • All OTC products are clearly labelled with expiry or “best before” dates as required by FSSAI (India), US FDA, and EU regulations.

  • Products should be stored according to the instructions on the label (e.g., “store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight”).

  • Using products beyond their expiry date is not recommended, as safety and effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.

  • Expired products are not eligible for return or refund.

4. Product Recalls

  • In the rare event of a product recall (voluntary or regulatory), we will:

    • Immediately post recall information on lyonsbarry.in.

    • Notify affected customers directly using contact details provided at purchase.

    • Provide instructions for return, replacement, or safe disposal.

    • Ensure that customers receive a refund or replacement at no cost.

We comply with all national and international recall requirements, including FSSAI (India), FDA (US), and EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).

5. Consumer Rights

This Returns & Warranty Policy is designed to respect consumer rights under global standards, including:

  • India: Consumer Protection Act (2019).

  • European Union: Consumer Rights Directive (14-day withdrawal right where applicable, with exceptions for sealed health/hygiene products once opened).

  • United States: FDA/FTC rules on OTC labeling, quality, and defect handling.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
