Shipping & Delivery Policy
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Effective Date: 20 August 2020
Applicable to: Domestic & International Orders
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed through LyonsBarry® / Ballia Corpus and explains our order processing, fulfilment, dispatch, domestic delivery and international export procedures.
1. Order Processing & Fulfilment
Orders are normally processed within 7–15 business days after successful payment and order confirmation.
Certain products may require manufacturing, procurement, customization, packaging, documentation, regulatory processing or other fulfilment activities. Such orders may require approximately 30–45 days or longer before dispatch.
Processing and fulfilment times are estimated and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
2. Dispatch
An order will be dispatched after the applicable processing, production, packaging and documentation requirements have been completed.
The customer will normally receive available shipment/tracking information after dispatch.
Dispatch time and delivery time are separate periods. A dispatch notification does not mean that the shipment has been delivered or has completed customs clearance.
3. Domestic Delivery — India
For deliveries within India, estimated transit time is generally:
7–15 days after dispatch.
Actual delivery may vary depending on:
Destination
Courier/service availability
Weather
Public holidays
Remote-area delivery
Address verification
Courier operational conditions
Unforeseen events
The stated delivery period is an estimated transit period and not a guaranteed delivery deadline.
4. International Export Delivery
For international shipments, estimated transit time is generally:
7–35 days after dispatch.
International transit time does not include customs clearance, import approval, regulatory inspection, quarantine, government examination, duties/taxes or other destination-country procedures.
The actual delivery time may therefore be substantially longer.
5. Customs Clearance
Customs clearance has no guaranteed deadline.
International shipments may be inspected, held, delayed, queried, assessed, returned, refused or otherwise processed by customs or other government authorities.
Such actions are outside the direct control of LyonsBarry.
Customs delays therefore do not automatically constitute a failure to deliver or create an automatic right to cancellation or refund.
6. Import Duties, Taxes & Government Charges
For international orders, the recipient/importer may be responsible for applicable:
Customs duties
Import taxes
VAT/GST or equivalent taxes
Customs brokerage fees
Storage charges
Inspection charges
Regulatory fees
Import permits or licenses
Other destination-country charges
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, such charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge.
7. Customer’s Import Responsibility
The customer/importer is responsible for determining whether the ordered product can legally be imported into the destination country.
Customers should verify applicable local requirements relating to:
Product registration
Import permits
Prescription requirements
Restricted/prohibited products
Customs requirements
Health authority requirements
Labeling requirements
Quantity restrictions
Duties and taxes
LyonsBarry does not guarantee that a particular product will be permitted for importation in every country.
8. Customs Hold, Rejection or Return
If a shipment is delayed, detained, refused, returned, abandoned or destroyed by customs or another government authority, the customer may be responsible for applicable duties, taxes, storage, return, disposal, regulatory and other charges, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
A customs delay or rejection does not automatically qualify the order for cancellation or refund.
Any refund request will be reviewed according to the applicable Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including:
Full recipient name
Complete address
City/state/province
Postal/ZIP code
Telephone number
Email address
Any information reasonably required for customs or delivery
LyonsBarry is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, additional charges, return or loss resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.
10. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments
If a customer refuses delivery, fails to collect a shipment, does not cooperate with the courier/customs authority, or provides information required for delivery or import clearance, the shipment may be returned, held or disposed of according to the carrier or government authority’s procedures.
Such refusal or non-cooperation does not automatically constitute cancellation and does not automatically create a right to a refund.
11. Courier & Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking information may be provided after dispatch.
Once a shipment has been handed over to the courier, delivery is also subject to the courier’s operational procedures.
Tracking information may temporarily stop updating while a shipment is moving between facilities, undergoing customs processing or being transferred between logistics partners.
A temporary lack of tracking updates does not necessarily mean that a shipment is lost.
12. Delivery Delays Outside Our Control
LyonsBarry shall not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including:
Customs or government action
Regulatory inspection
Import restrictions
Natural disasters
Severe weather
War or civil unrest
Strikes
Epidemics/pandemics
Transport disruption
Courier disruption
Flight cancellation
Port or airport congestion
Incorrect customer information
Recipient unavailability
Unpaid duties/taxes
Government holidays or closures
Other force-majeure events
Where such circumstances occur, the original estimated delivery period may no longer apply.
13. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect the parcel at the time of delivery whenever reasonably possible.
For damaged, visibly tampered, incomplete or incorrect shipments, customers should retain the complete packaging and contact LyonsBarry within 72 hours of confirmed delivery in accordance with our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
For high-value, fragile, sealed or health-related products, customers are strongly advised to record a continuous, clear and unedited unboxing video, showing the unopened parcel, shipping label, package condition and opening of the shipment.
14. No Guaranteed Delivery Date
Unless LyonsBarry expressly confirms a specific guaranteed delivery commitment in writing, all processing, fulfilment, dispatch and delivery periods stated on our website, quotation, invoice or communication are estimated periods only.
A delivery estimate should not be interpreted as a guaranteed delivery date.
15. Order Cancellation & Refund
Once processing, procurement, production, packaging, documentation or fulfilment has commenced, cancellation may not be available.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot normally be cancelled as an unshipped order.
Any cancellation or refund request will be handled according to our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy, subject to applicable law.
16. Export Documentation
Depending on the product, destination and applicable requirements, export shipments may require commercial invoices, packing information, product descriptions, certificates, declarations or other documentation.
Customers must provide accurate information and promptly cooperate where additional information or documentation is reasonably required for shipment or customs clearance.
17. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated according to applicable factors such as:
Destination
Package weight
Dimensions
Shipping service
Courier
Number of packages
Special handling requirements
Applicable taxes or surcharges
Any additional destination-country customs or government charges are normally payable by the customer/importer unless expressly stated otherwise.
18. Fraud Prevention & Shipping Evidence
LyonsBarry may maintain records relating to order processing, packing, parcel weight, shipping labels, courier tracking, delivery confirmation, customer communications and other fulfilment information.
Such records may be used to investigate delivery disputes, fraudulent claims, refund requests and payment disputes or chargebacks.
Where permitted by law, relevant records may be provided to payment processors, banks, courier companies, insurers, customs authorities or other authorized entities for dispute resolution, verification or fraud prevention.
19. Policy Acceptance
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts this Shipping & Delivery Policy together with the applicable Terms & Conditions and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any statutory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
LyonsBarry® / Ballia Corpus reserves the right to update this Shipping & Delivery Policy when reasonably necessary. The policy applicable to an order will be determined according to the transaction records maintained for that order.
