Vasavaleha is a semi-solid herbal formulation. It provides relief from respiratory conditions like asthma, bronchitis, and chronic cough. It is an excellent expectorant helpful in respiratory illness as it makes the sticky phlegm dissolve and aids in its easy exit. It helps reduce the inflammation from the lungs thus providing relief from asthma attacks.

According to Ayurveda, Vasavaleha can help with Swas Roga (respiratory illness) due to its Kapha balancing property. This property helps remove excess mucus from the lungs, providing relief from the symptoms of asthma. Vasavaleha also has Vata balancing properties, together these properties help remove dryness and release sputum out of the respiratory tract. This action provides aid in bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and allergic rhinitis.

You can take 2.5-5gm Vasavaleha or as directed by the physician to get relief from the symptoms of asthma. Mix with honey, warm water or milk. Have it after eating light food once or twice a day.

Vasavaleha is generally well tolerated and does not have any side effects when taken in the recommended dose.
