Dashmularishta, also spelled as Dasamoolarishtam, is an Ayurvedic formulation comprising more than 50 herbs along with the group of ten herb roots known as Dashamula. It is used widely as a health tonic. It is a fermented liquid preparation made with various herbal ingredients beneficial for health.
It is used to provide relief from post-delivery weakness. It provides strength to post-natal women and helps the uterus to regain normal size and shape. It is also renowned for its benefits on women’s overall health and the female reproductive system. It strengthens the muscles present in the uterus, which helps in uterine contraction for better menstrual discharge.
In Ayurveda also, many physicians suggest Dashmularishta for managing post-delivery complications and restoring the hormone which helps to improve the health of women because of its Vata balancing and Balya (strength provider) properties.
